One fine, sunny day Donald took his cute, little brown motor boat for a spin. About 20 minutes out he decided to put his anchor down. He thought it was peacefully quiet and needed something a little extra, so he got out his bagpipes. The calm ocean relaxes Donald as he floats away in his cute, little brown boat. Donald likes the cold sea salt on his tongue waiting to be licked off and he could hear the white seagulls gliding high above him. He liked the vibrations of the motor. Donald thought about and how much he loves his small family.
With the sound of the of the waves rubbing up against his boat was so relaxing, he just drifted of into the sound of his roaring bag pipes.
The roaring sound of his bagpipes had attracted many people nearby on the beach. It was that loud some people thought it was a shark alarm. The sound of his bagpipes was endless. He got everyone interested especially one funny fish named Barney. Barney seemed to love the sound and stared singing. Donald was amazed by the sound of a fish singing and he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Donald excitedly emptied his wet red bucket and scooped up Barney the green singing fish out of the splashing water. Once the slimy fish settled down in the bucket, he got his bag pipes out again from his suitcase and started playing loud music while Barney was happily singing along.
Donald takes Barney back to shore in his small boat running along the crushing waves, with the smell of sea salt creeping up his nose. He climbs 148 stairs to reach the top of the sandy beach, where he saw a group of old men. He tells everyone on the beach about Barney, they don't believe him until Barney started signing his beautiful song! They all formed a line walking along the beach with the sound of crashing waves in the background of Barney's beautiful song. Donald holding Barney in a bucket, then the others followed!
Donald continued to walk along the beautiful houses with his green, little, singing friend, Barney. The people in the town rejoiced and celebrated exclaiming the good news to all. "Let's take this to the pub!" Shouted a villager. "Yes let's!" Cried another. So the whole village, Donald and Barney started making their way towards the local pub.
"Wooooo" the villages cheered with joy as they danced around the dance floor in the Scottish pub.
Donald looked down at his watch. "Oh my! look at the time", Donald exclaimed, "Barney has to get home and have a bath, he's to famous to be dirty."
"Bye."
Donald and Barney both loved singing so much they decided to form a duet , the international singing competition was coming up and they were going to enter together, they wanted to win so they needed as much practice as they could. They practiced in the loungeroom, in the bath tub and in bed at night.
"LaLaLa" Sang Barney the fish. Donald got up from the sounds of Barney.
"Look Barney! Today I will go to the local pet shop and buy you some fish food" Donald said. "You stay here and I'll be right back!" Donald said as he grabbed his coat and left the house. He walked all the way to Pet Paradise. The towns best pet shop.
One day Barney the green fish got cramped in is little orange bucket and asked Donald for a big fish bowl so he could rest, sleep and play in it. So the next day Donald went down to the pet shop and asked the owner for a huge fish bowl, but the owner could only find a average sized fish bowl. The owner of the pet shop made him a deal " hay i will make you a deal if you give me $100 dollars i will make you on just for you" said the shop owner suspiciously. "Ok" said Donald cheerfully. So when Donald came the next day the shop owner had a huge fish bowl in a wheel borrow with Donald's name on in it.
Soon after nearly everyone in town had seen the fish, the children had been telling there parents, who then told there friends, about
the fish. People from all over had heard, until a producer found out. The producer
Simon gave a call to Donald. The fish Barney had been asked to do a concert. They were so excited they told the producer that they'd be there and to spread the word.
'Barney the singing fish would be performing live, don't miss it!'
The next day a big red car pulled up to Donald's small, brown apartment by the seaside. He knocked on the door. Donald opened it to a man explaining about wanting to meet a singing fish that he heard so much about on the streets by the neighbours in the town. He also explained that he was a famous rock star. They walked into the house to find Barney swimming around in his gigantic clear fishbowl. The rock star was amazed that Barney was right in front of him singing "Hello." The rock star walked up to Barney and shook his fin. Barney and Donald were very pleased that a famous rock star would come to meet them. Then the he told them his name, which was Patrick Star. They talked and talked for hours and they even had a cup of tea together.

As Donald was making his way to the door he was also thinking
about who it was or what him/her wanted. Donald opened the
door and there standing in front of him was a man smartly
dressed. He said to Donald 'are you the man with that fantastic fish
who can talk?' Donald was pretty stunned this man randomly came to his
door by the time Donald got the words out the man was already looking
at Barney. 'YES ! yes i am !' Said Donald. 'Why do you ask?'asked Donald
'Well i had a fantastic idea about your fish' the man said 'he can be a STAR !'
the man said again. Donald went and explained it to Barney , he agreed.
It was final Barney was going to be in show biz ! So they both packed up and went in the car to
start Barney fantastic show. they were both excited , but Barney looked at the man and
saw that he had sort of a cheeky grin. Barney was just a little scared about this why he didn't even know his name !
but they went on anyway Barney still couldn't believe he was going to be a star for his singing why he was always
the best singer in his family.

So Donald took Barney to his big show at the Opera House.
The crowd was getting bigger and bigger until all the seats were filled and some people even had to stand outside in the cool weather.
When he went backstage he had photos taken with all the people that came to see this amazing fish sing.
But after 10 people Barney's manager didn't let anyone else go in, because the show was coming up and Barney had to get ready.
Barney was looking at himself in the mirror with Donald next to him, humming the tune, when one of the men that worked there came in and said the show was about to start and Barney was need on the stage.
RR One gorgeous starry night, Donald took Barney to the royal theatre to perform a solo. Barney thought it was extremely nerv wracking knowing that he would have millions of eyes staring straight at him and expecting something brilliant to happen seeing as they payed money. As the time came when Barney had to perform Donald place him on stage so it was going really good so far but it did take him a little while to adjust to the crowd watching him. He could tell he was a great singer by looking at the crowds astonishing faces staring back at him. He loved it!
The audience sat in amazement while they watched the singing fish named Barney. They were sitting in the squished chairs not worrying about anything in the world, just listening to the beautiful music. They thought that Barney was a once in a lifetime chance to see. But then suddenly the fish stopped singing, and went back into his bright red bucket filled with icey cold water. The audience was shocked, they didn't know that Barney, the very slippery fish who was wet to touch, was going to only give them half a show! The viewers were so angry and disappointed that they started to leave their seats in a disorderly fashion. The founder of Barney was wondering what was wrong with him, and most importantly, what was wrong with the audience? Why were they leaving? Suddenly without thinking properly, Donald runs onto the stage with his noisy bag pipes and starts playing. For he knew that Barney only sang the beautiful melody when he was playing his bag pipes
One day Donald took Barney the Fish and put on a concert for him and when he put on the concert for Barney the fish didn't want to have a concert he was not a performing monkey and went in to his bucket again and didn't come out till his owner Donald cam out with his bag pipes and he started to play them and then Barney the fish was so happy that he came out of his bucket and started to sing along with Donald and he was so happy that he was singing like a normal fish again YAY BARNEY!!!
Barney fell asleep during his performance in his red bucket. Donald had a heart attack as to why he had stopped. So he rushed out on to the stage begging Barney to wake up but Barney wouldn't wake. So Donald quickly ran off stage grabbed his bag pipes and got back on,to try and wake up Barney.
Barney had extremely bad stage fright, so Donald knew there was only one thing he could do, he reached for his large bagpipes and blew with all his might. Then once again Barney came out of the bucket and sang so loud that the whole theatre applauded. He was no longer stage fright and neither was Donald so he picked the large red bucket up and started doing a jig!
They were the most famous duet in the world of music!
They won the whole show and the crowd threw beautiful flowers at them while on the stage . Donald & Barney felt very special as they had achieved what they wanted.
